Why Custom Cord Wood?
Being able to choose the wood that is best for your needs will make burning wood much more efficient and rewarding. Each wood stove has a different size burner box, so matching your wood length to your burner depth will allow you to load your stove for a longer burn.
Fireplace wood should be split further than woodstove to provide a hotter and brighter fire and one that is easier to ignite.
Some people may even want to choose the type of wood they burn, and we do provide this with our green wood selection. Some wood has a higher BTU rating or may burn longer than others. If you want to extend the length of time your stove burns (at night for example) you may want to choose specific wood types.
Providing green wood is a great way for people to season their own wood and to buy ahead of time, when demand is lower.
