What to expect: Every participant must wear a body harness and helmet. The zip starts off on a tree climb which can be frightening to some but is perfectly safe because participants will always be attached to a safety rope. You will climb to a platform in the tree. Once you reach the platform a facilitator will answer any questions and connect you to the zip cable. If you were not daunted by the tree climb, you may be a little unnerved as you look at the drop before you. Once you launch from the platform expect a smooth exhilerating flight at speeds of up to 35 mph. Your ride is about 600 feet long! At the end of the zip you will dismount by climbing a set of stairs that is rolled underneath you. Each tree climb / zip ride is $20, but if you come when it is slow, we tend to let you ride the second time for much less. We are unable to take credit cards in the field, so we accept checks or cash only. The zip line has a weight limit of 240 lbs for any one rider. Children must be at least 9 Years of age to participate.
Helpful Hints: The more people you arrive with, the longer you will stay, so for every participant that rides, expect at least 10 minutes...so if you come with a group of 4, expect to be at the zip line for 40 minutes. If you want to avoid a line, come early or come late. Sometimes there will be a wait, so feel free to bring a frisby or kite to pass the time. Dress for the weather and do not wear flip flops (sneakers are best), do not wear skirts, and if you have long hair, bring something to tie your hair up with. Camera and video are welcome.

We are a member of ACCT, which is is a trade organization, serving Challenge Course ( zip line ) Professionals all over the world. The purpose of the association is to promote safety, the use of Challenge Courses, and to set minimum standards for Challenge Course installation, operation, training and inspection. Our zip line was constructed using the recommended standards and procedures of ACCT. ACCT has been setting challenge course standards (zip line standards) since 1993, and is now accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as a standards developer.
